Passive standard within reach: Our 2D panels passed the demanding airtightness test
Auklan is pleased to announce that, in close cooperation with Sain-Gobain, it has successfully conducted a blower door test on one of its model buildings, which was built using the newly developed AUKLAN system of prefabricated wall and ceiling 2D panels with a load-bearing structure made of thin-walled cold-rolled profiles (LGFS). This test, which is a key indicator for achieving passive house standards, yielded very positive results.
The blower door test is a method that measures the airtightness of a building and is essential for assessing energy efficiency and living comfort. The test results confirmed that our 2D panel constructions meet high demands for airtightness, which is one of the important factors for achieving the passive standard.
This success is further proof of the quality and effectiveness of our construction solutions, which combine speed of construction, sustainability and high energy efficiency. We are proud to contribute to the development of modern and ecological housing in the Czech Republic.
