Children's group in Církvice: Innovative modular construction of a preschool facility

The total area of the new building is 190 m², and its construction took place from September 2024 to January 2025. The project included the production and pre-assembly of eight 3D modules, which were assembled into a single unit on site. Four modules are constructed from AUKLAN thin-walled steel profiles, while the other four use a rolled steel frame with inserted walls and floors made of thin-walled profiles. These modules were 90% completed by the contractor in their production hall between September and November and then transported to the construction site, where the construction was completed between December and January, including earthworks.

The combination of different materials and the use of modular technology ensured quick and efficient assembly. The project also includes underfloor heating cast in anhydrite, which is the only wet process in this construction. The resulting building meets the standards of a passive house.
