Construction under a green wall in Bruntál: A modern solution for a healthier urban environment
An innovative project involving construction under a green wall has been created in Bruntál, combining aesthetics with functionality and contributing to improved air quality and cooling of the building. The community of unit owners, in cooperation with Strommy and AUKLAN, implemented this unique system with a total area of 180 m².
The project, carried out by AUKLAN, included the design, structural assessment, manufacture, and installation of a galvanized steel structure, which is modular and set forward to create an air gap between the facade and the green wall. This approach allows for effective air circulation, increases insulation properties through the use of reflective foil, and minimizes the load on the existing structure.
The modularity and high durability of the structure ensure easy installation and a long service life even in harsh weather conditions. The project is an example of how vertical gardens can be integrated into the urban environment in a cost-effective and efficient manner, promoting biodiversity and improving the microclimate.
